This study aims to change the way we interact with the microbiomes around us. There are thriving communities of living organisms all around us–and while this might make some folks cringe or squeal, these colonies of microbes are rarely harmful.
We owe microbes a lot: they are responsible for tasty foods and even help our bodies work! By understanding that bacteria aren’t just something to blame when we get sick, we see the beauty in the diversity that exists below the level of sight!
Think of all the other things that become beautiful when we look at them in a new way: trash becomes musical instruments, and toxic waste become art.
